Abstract

By means of the recent statistical data the trend to the remarkable decrease of the number of sheep in the Republic of Croatia was settled. This causes the decrease of the production of sheep meat, milk and wool. Possibilities of the development of the mentioned products in the highland and lowland country parts of Croatia are shown.
