Abstract

In the liquor of organic solvent perchlorethylene, the waterrepellent and oil-repellent, as well as combined water- and oil repellent impregnation of fabrics of PES/cotton and PES/wool blends was carried out. The reimpregnation of worn out clothes made also of blends mentioned was investigated. In addition, the effects of impregnation and reimpregnation were examined. The results obtained showed, that theses procedures can successfully be used. The performance properties on the cleaned and reimpregnated clothes are considerably improved and their durability prolongued.
